New Zealand national champion Ally Wollaston (AG Insurance-Soudal Quick-Step) is a track rider who has been making leaps on the roads in recent seasons thanks to her impressive sprint. After taking a number of wins and top results on the then-NXTG Racing under-23 team in 2022, she stepped up to their new elite squad in 2023.

At the start of 2023, Wollaston started her road season with a bang by winning the triple of the road race, U23 time trial and criterium events at the national championships in New Zealand. The 22-year-old was due to represent New Zealand on the track at the Commonwealth Games in 2022, but missed the games after being injured in the Tour de France Femmes. She continues to race on the track in 2023, where she has picked up several wins in the World Cup series.
